The Department of Computer Networks and Operating Systems ensures the smooth and secure operation of the IT systems at the Technical University of Košice. We make sure that university communication is fast, reliable, and accessible—whether it’s internet connectivity, wireless networking, or server infrastructure management.
We provide technical support for all university workplaces, the technological foundation for institutional systems, and guarantee the security of both data and access. At the same time, we create an environment that enables the university to function efficiently, foster research, and support teaching.
We are actively involved in cyber threat protection and ensure the operation of central information systems. Thanks to our work, modern digital services are available to everyone—students, teachers, and researchers alike.
We are the team working behind the scenes so the university can focus on what matters most: knowledge and innovation.
Our vision is to create a modern, secure, and reliable digital environment that supports growth, research, and education. We aim to be a trusted technological partner that consistently delivers innovative solutions, drives the Technical University of Košice toward digital excellence, and builds a solid foundation for digital transformation and educational inclusion.
