Microsoft EES
Campus and School – Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES)
This is a multi-license subscription program between the Slovak Ministry of Education and Microsoft, offering Microsoft software under the M365 EDU A3 agreement.
This agreement allows the university to:
- Upgrade OS licenses to Windows EDU,
- Use Microsoft 365 (Office 365) (Office 365),
- Access server licenses (CALs)
These licenses are temporary, valid during the contract period, and can only be installed on university-owned computers. After contract termination, licenses must be purchased or the software uninstalled.
Note: These licenses are not valid for students’ personal computers.
To use the Windows EDU upgrade, the computer must already have a legitimate Windows version (e.g., HOME or PRO). This upgrade does not legalize an unlicensed OS.
The user is responsible for ensuring their software is properly licensed.
Accepted base licenses:
- For Windows 10 EDU – Windows 10 Home
- For Windows 11 EDU – Windows 11 Home
