Academic Information System – MAIS
MAIS is a comprehensive information system used to support the study, teaching, and accommodation agenda at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE). It enables efficient management and processing of data related to education and academic operations.

MAIS is integrated with the university's systems and provides essential data on students and study programs to other systems.
The system is regularly updated and expanded with new features to improve usability and efficiency.

A mobile application is also available for students.
Access to MAIS (excluding the Electronic Application interface) is granted through a unique login and is verified by the Central Authentication System (CAS).

The E-Application enables the online submission of study applications from the comfort of your own home, eliminating the need for an in-person visit. It also offers lower processing fees.

- Login credentials for the MAIS-Student interface for newly admitted students
The Student interface is intended for enrolled students and offers many useful features:
- Online enrollment for studies
- Online requests for course registration in the study plan
- Study overview and academic results, including completed programs
- Creation and display of timetables and recommended study plans
- Exam term registration
- Thesis topic selection
- Student surveys
- Financial overview (scholarships, fees, variable and specific symbols)
- Online accommodation requests
- Overview of accommodation fees
- Printable reports
The mobile version offers a seamless experience on mobile devices, providing full functionality.
The Teacher interface is intended for academic staff and enables:
- Preparing teaching materials – creating courses and study plans
- Timetable planning and overview
- Managing exam terms – organizing and tracking exam schedules
- Recording credits and exam results
- Managing final exams and thesis-related agendas
- Creating and managing student surveys
- Posting announcements for effective communication with students
- Generating reports
- Various statistical overviews
The Referent module is designed for study department staff and covers the whole student lifecycle — from applications and enrolment to graduation and accommodation management.
The Public Portal of the MAIS system is available to the general public without requiring login credentials. It serves as a central source of information on study programs and activities at TUKE.
